This Privacy Notice applies to the website advonis.ch and to the use of the Advonis platform. For this processing, Advonis AG is the controller. Our services are directed at companies domiciled in Switzerland.
A separate notice applies to verifications. If you complete a business or person verification via a verification link, the Verification Privacy Notice applies. It is shown and linked within the verification process itself. There, the controller is not Advonis but the organization that requested the verification; Advonis acts as a processor. The measurement and analytics described in Section 10 do not take place in the verification flow.

Contact and enquiry data: name, email address, organization, the content of your message, the interface language and the page from which you submitted the form. This information is stored in the form submissions of our website system and as a contact record in our CRM system; we also receive an email notification for each submission.
Newsletter data: your email address, optionally your name, the interface language and the page on which you subscribed. If you have consented to analytics, the analytics identifier of your browser is additionally linked to your contact record. Details in Section 5.
Anonymous audience measurement data: page views, device type, referrer, and click and scroll distributions. This measurement runs by default, works without cookies and is evaluated in aggregate; it is not linked to your contact record. You can object to it at any time - details in Section 10.
Usage and analytics data (only with your consent): page views, referrer, time on page and interactions on our website, including recordings of mouse movements, scrolling and clicks (session replays). Without your consent, this data is not collected. Details in Section 10.
Account data: name, email address, role and access credentials of the individuals who use the platform on behalf of a customer.
Platform usage data: authentication events, audit logs, notifications and operational data.
Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, timestamps and server logs.
Profiling. If you have consented to analytics, your browsing behaviour can be associated with a contact record once you complete a form. This constitutes profiling within the meaning of Art. 5 lit. f FADP and serves solely to gauge interest in our services and to prepare conversations. Without your consent, this association does not take place; the anonymous audience measurement does not perform it. High-risk profiling within the meaning of Art. 5 lit. g FADP does not take place: no sensitive personal data is used, no profile of essential aspects of your personality is created, and no automated decisions are made.
No automated individual decisions. No decision about you is taken solely on the basis of automated processing (Art. 21 FADP). The platform automates work steps; the assessment and the decision always rest with a person at the customer.
Via the subscription form on the blog you can subscribe to two types of emails, managed separately:
The subscription is active on submission; no confirmation email is sent. As evidence of your consent, we store the wording shown to you at sign-up, together with a timestamp and your IP address.
Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link and a link to a preference page where you can manage the two subscriptions separately. In addition, you receive individual replies to your enquiries; no consent is required for those.
We use the following processors, all bound by data processing agreements:
We also disclose data to authorities where disclosure is required by law. Your data is not sold and is not passed to third parties for their own purposes. Advertising networks receive no data; we run no advertising.
Platform data is stored exclusively in Switzerland, including all backups. Emails to our customers are also sent via a provider located in Switzerland.
The website, audience measurement, CRM and analytics are operated by providers based in the USA. The CRM and newsletter data is held on HubSpot's EU instance; as a US corporate group, HubSpot can access it from the USA. The form submissions and measurement data at Webflow and the analytics data at Google and Microsoft are processed in the USA.
The transfer relies on the recognition of the United States as providing adequate data protection for companies certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 16 para. 1 FADP together with Annex 1 to the Data Protection Ordinance). Where a provider does not hold such certification, the standard contractual clauses recognised under the FADP apply.
Verification data is stored exclusively in Switzerland; details are set out in the Verification Privacy Notice.
Deletion may be suspended where retention is required by law or ordered by an authority.
Subject to statutory limitations, you have the right to access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and to withdraw a consent with effect for the future. You object to the audience measurement and withdraw your consent to the in-depth analytics via the cookie settings in the website footer (Section 10); you withdraw your consent to emails via the unsubscribe link or the preference page (Section 5). For everything else, please contact info@advonis.ch.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
We distinguish three categories.
1. Necessary cookies and storage entries - always active:
advonis-consent in your browser's local storage, not a cookie) - Until you change it or clear your browser data.2. Anonymous audience measurement - runs by default, can be switched off at any time:
We use Webflow Analyze to assess which content is used. This measurement sets no cookies. It places an anonymous identifier in your browser's local storage, which distinguishes returning from new visits. It collects page views, device type, referrer, and click and scroll distributions; the evaluation is aggregated. No link is made to your contact record or to the tools listed under category 3.
Legal basis and objection: The measurement rests on our legitimate interest. For the storage entry, Art. 45c lit. b of the Swiss Telecommunications Act (FMG) requires information about the processing, its purpose and the possibility to refuse it - this section provides that information. You may object at any time: selecting "Decline" in the cookie settings also switches this measurement off.
3. In-depth analytics - only after your consent:
The following three tools load only once you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. Before that, none of them is loaded and none of their cookies is set - here it is opt-in, not opt-out.

On the legal pages (/legal/...) measurement and analytics are switched off entirely - regardless of your decision. In the verification flow, no measurement and no analytics take place either; only necessary cookies are set there.
